Product Information

This is a SCR (AdBlue), DPF (Diesel particulate filter) and EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation) removal Programming Service for Mercedes Benz equipped with EDC16CP31 ECU Years 2003 to 2012.

The Daily Driver Tune has the SCR / DEF, DPF, EGR, and Swirl Flaps deleted. This is a great baseline to start off with to ensure your vehicle is running correctly with the new modifications you have just done. This tune has everything deleted but no performance added, which makes it great for troubleshooting and to compare with the other tunes.

The Daily Driver Tune Plus+ has the SCR / DEF, DPF, EGR, and Swirl Flaps deleted and also has a performance increase. We have created this tune to improve fuel economy while also giving you a very significant increase in power. This tune will transform your car into a high performance machine for your daily commute.

SCR / DEF / Adblue Delete:
This is useful if you want disable the DEF / Adblue system in your vehicle. This will remove NOx codes and other DEF related codes and save you from spending over $8500 for a complete SCR system from the dealer.
Note: If your vehicle has an Adblue Module it will need to be disconnected. Please be advised that any messages on the dash related to the DEF such as "Starts Idle" or "Starts RE5" etc. are stored in the instrument cluster and need to be cleared with a scan tool before the tune can be written to the ECU.

DPF (Diesel particulate filter) Delete:
This is useful when your DPF gets clogged up and starts causing a loss in power or stops regenerating properly. It costs around $3400 to replace, but with our service you can remove it from the exhaust and install a straight pipe in its place or hollow it out.
Note: If the DPF is deleted the EGR also need to be deleted.

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Delete:
This is useful if you have EGR related fault codes or if your EGR valve is clogged up and not opening or closing properly. You will need to unplug the electrical connector of the EGR valve, making sure the valve is in the closed position.
Note: If the EGR is deleted the DPF also need to be deleted.

Swirl Flap Delete:
This is useful if the swirl flaps in the intake manifold are stuck in one position which is caused by the flaps getting clogged up with carbon buildup. It is not mandatory to delete the swirl flaps as the tune will allow them to work normally if they are still installed but will also allow you to delete them mechanically and not show any fault codes.

Hi Carl, thanks for your honest review. We appreciate your suggestion, the Powergate device we use for this model for reading and writing does require wifi to work. The plus side is that the tuning process is much faster and you don't need to download any software on your computer etc. Glad you had a great experience with our customer service!

Extremely impressed with the way they handled everything. I explained to them that I thought that it was supposed to delete certain things by reading it off of the website and there was a miscommunication and due to the miscommunication they offered to fix it sent me the new tune, and not only did they do that. They called to verify that I had received it and that all the information was correct by far the best customer service and outstanding relationship I have seen between the purchaser and the seller in many many years very grateful for them highly recommend.

2014 BMW 328d - DEF delete

I could not be happier nor could the procedure have been easier!! RPM saved me over $9000 in repairs at the local BMW dealer, who admitted they could not guarantee a fully successful repair! I wish I had contacted RPM sooner but was too apprehensive purchasing from an unknown (at least to me) seller based solely on their reviews. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!

Worth Every Penny

Not only did their tune save my customer thousands on their Sprinter, it made a world of difference on the reliability and performance.

“No Start” Dash F10 535D

So incredibly happy I found these guys. BMW dealership wanted to charge $3,000 for 2 NOX sensors, $3,000 for new DPF, and $3,000 for new EGR, and $1,000 for an ECU re-program, just to be able start my car again.
RPM overnighted their tuner, they were BEYOND incredibly fast in their response times(they emailed back to all my questions nearly instantly), and were incredibly helpful. The set up was super fast and easy, and I’ve never done anything like this before.
It’s now been over two weeks since I installed the file, and have had zero problems.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Not sure what I praise more, the product or the customer service

Like the title states, the process of buying and getting my pre purchase questions answered went as good as you can imagine. They didn’t just email back right away, I was able to speak directly to a representative (Lee) and he literally walked me through the steps I was confused on (which was my bad to begin with).

Scr dpf egr delete

The actual mechanics of deleting the exhaust piping was very difficult. Once that was done ,the rest wasn't too bad .
Results in performance were great .
