Product Information

BMW diesel vehicles from 2013–2015 can enter a DEF-induced no-start condition after SCR or AdBlue system faults. Once the countdown reaches zero, the vehicle is immobilized even if the engine and drivetrain are otherwise healthy.

This service provides a professional ECU-level reset of the DEF no-start countdown, restoring the vehicle’s ability to start by recovering the affected SCR, DPF & EGR logic.

Why ECU-level recovery matters

Scan-tool resets and battery disconnects do not clear DEF start inhibition once the countdown is active. This condition is enforced in ECU logic and requires proper software recovery to resolve permanently.

Portable tool would be 100x better if it had a screen and required no phone or internet connection. Not even sure if it works without internet? Great customer service though!!

Hi Carl, thanks for your honest review. We appreciate your suggestion, the Powergate device we use for this model for reading and writing does require wifi to work. The plus side is that the tuning process is much faster and you don't need to download any software on your computer etc. Glad you had a great experience with our customer service!

I explained to them that I thought that it was supposed to delete certain things by reading it off of the website and there was a miscommunication and due to the miscommunication they offered to fix it sent me the new tune, and not only did they do that. They called to verify that I had received it and that all the information was correct by far the best customer service and outstanding relationship I have seen between the purchaser and the seller in many many years very grateful for them highly recommend.

2014 BMW 328d - DEF delete

I could not be happier nor could the procedure have been easier!! RPM saved me over $9000 in repairs at the local BMW dealer, who admitted they could not guarantee a fully successful repair! I wish I had contacted RPM sooner but was too apprehensive purchasing from an unknown (at least to me) seller based solely on their reviews. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!

Worth Every Penny

Not only did their tune save my customer thousands on their Sprinter, it made a world of difference on the reliability and performance.

Their customer service has been over the top since day one. They’re always quick to respond and answer their phones, and the assistance they give is awesome every time.

The power boost on the tune plus is really well engineered and doesn’t overwork the engine or turbos.

“No Start” Dash F10 535D

So incredibly happy I found these guys. BMW dealership wanted to charge $3,000 for 2 NOX sensors, $3,000 for new DPF, and $3,000 for new EGR, and $1,000 for an ECU re-program, just to be able start my car again.
RPM overnighted their tuner, they were BEYOND incredibly fast in their response times(they emailed back to all my questions nearly instantly), and were incredibly helpful. The set up was super fast and easy, and I’ve never done anything like this before.
It’s now been over two weeks since I installed the file, and have had zero problems.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Not sure what I praise more, the product or the customer service

Like the title states, the process of buying and getting my pre purchase questions answered went as good as you can imagine. They didn’t just email back right away, I was able to speak directly to a representative (Lee) and he literally walked me through the steps I was confused on (which was my bad to begin with).

The product works GREAT! I love it so much I’m upgrading to the performance tune once I delete everything. Thank you so much, I WILL be back and I’m already looking at options for my X5d

Scr dpf egr delete

The actual mechanics of deleting the exhaust piping was very difficult. Once that was done ,the rest wasn't too bad .
Results in performance were great .
