This is a RMFD ECU / DME for ALL MINI Cooper R-Series with a N12 / N14 / N16 or N18  engine equipped with DME MEV172 / MED172 / MEV1722 / MEVD1722 / MEVD1727.

We can Program this ECU with the following Options: 

  • Transfer your Original ECU DATA to the Re-Manufactured ECU. (Shipping Required).
  • Program & Code the Re-Manufactured ECU and Align it to your CAS Module & Keys. (Shipping Required).

Awesome Service

Hands down, besides Napa…this is honestly the best customer service I’ve ever had. For once it feels amazing to get quality work without someone trying rip you a new a-xxxx. The euro shops around tried to rip me off, then I found this RPM Site. At first I was skeptical and I thought the reviews were fake, but they’re real. The turn around time is indeed fast, “Jimmy Johns” fast! Mr. Lee and his team is the best, I thought my first dme was the problem because my mini stayed at a high idle after start up, Mr. Lee sent out a replacement within two days, then later I found out that the gas pedal was the problem, replaced that, now im on the road again! Again thanks Mr. Lee.

DME Replacement

I was impressed from the time I spoke with Lee at RPM to the expedite nature in resolving this issue. Damaged DME sent from BMW Moncton on a Friday and back on their desk the following Thursday. I can only wish that every business I deal with was as efficient and professional as RPM Motorsport. Thank you thank you thank you. With the shortage of AG Chips globally this was a nightmare resolved by RPM. Eternally Grateful.

2012 Mini Cooper DME repair

Superb service you offer here. I had a 5V reference issue with the throttle position sensor and my local indy shop diagnosed it as a bad DME. I did the "reprogram a used DME" option and that did the trick! Hopefully, I won't need this option again... Thanks again RPM, you guys are the best!
